Hi bloggers x readers!
Wardrobe Wednesday interviews is back and I am showcasing a Blogger and Merchandiser by the name of Dana! She is the founder of a blog called “Pink Champagne Problems” and you can find everything from a creative & catchy blog name, fun and inspiring outfits to current fashion trends. Who says champagne can’t be a good problem for a woman? Also make sure you check out her “101 in 1001” list, I just may have to create a list for my blog also, (thanks Dana!). Relax, grab a glass of wine or champagne in this case lol, kick up your feet, and enjoy!
CC: Hi Dana, tell us a little bit about yourself?
Dana: “Hi! Well, let's see. I'm a 23-year old born and raised New Yorker who found herself working her dream job right out of college. By day, I am a Merchandiser for Perry Ellis, a menswear brand. I am responsible for overseeing knits & sweaters and woven shirts from design development all the way through production. It's pretty cool! And then by night, I am the writer behind Pink Champagne Problems.”
CC: What does style mean to you?
Dana: “I think style is the absolute best way to describe yourself and your personality without saying a dang word. And I freakin' love that.”
CC: Bold prints seem to be your thing! How do you plan to play with prints for the spring and summer?
Dana: “You know what's funny? They've only recently became "my thing". But it's nice to see my readers and followers responding to some fashion risks. For summer, I plan on making my bottom pieces (skirts, pants, shoes and accessories) my bold statements -- because it's just WAY too hot in New York City during the summer. So I plan on keeping it light up top and crazy on the bottom ;)”
CC: Top 5 must have items for the spring?
1. Statement pants
2. Great sunglasses
3. A midi skirt
4. Fun sandals
5. Cute crop top
CC: Top 5 places you love to shop?
3. Banana Republic
CC: Top 5 brands you love?
If we're talking designer....
4. Alexander Wang
5. Isabel Marant
CC: Blogging is becoming such a popular platform, what has blogging done for you?
Dana: “Blogging has definitely opened up so many doors and allowed me to work with some really cool companies. But my favorite thing is the people it's brought into my life. It's fun to have a connection with other bloggers from all over the world.”
CC: Lastly, The Prevailing Effect is someone who has prevailed and overcame many obstacles in life to get where they are today. Do you consider yourself a “Prevailing Effect”?
Dana: “I think I've overcome a lot personally. No, my blog hasn't made me millions, but it's been a place that has allowed me to grow and figure out some things about myself. It's also fun to have watched my blog grow from something I did in my college dorm room to something I turned into a little business. All on my own!”
