Shibori Class: 101

Hi readers x bloggers,
I'm soooooo getting in touch with my creative side over here in Europe, its like crazy.com
But any who my professor introduced us to a Japanese technique called: Shibori. It consist of dyeing fabrics by folding, twisting, clamping or compressing it which will prevent the dye from getting in certain areas to form the patterns. (Website here.) Below are a few picture of my creations! I used two different methods for two different scarfs. Enjoy

Scarf #1: Done with a glass, wine bottle..
-I started with a plain white scarf, dyed it black, rinsed it, applied a variety of colors.

Scarf #2: Started with a plain white scarf also, dyed it a champagne, rinsed it, and applied a variety of colors and color blocked it to get the pattern.
